From being obsessed with the Titanic, I have always been interested in how things are designed and implemented into real life. By studying the ship\u2019s design plans online, I created a fully painted model out of Titanic out of wood. I also studied the ship\u2019s big steam engines to see how they worked and made mock models of those as well. I picked up persistence and problem-solving skills, as not everything went easily. The auto shop car we had was always in such bad condition, that there was never a day that you couldn\u2019t find a new bolt stripped or other problems. I learned to use a die tool to add new threads to the stripped bolts, so we could reuse them.
